This is the homepage for Colchester and District branch of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. We provide support for people with neuromuscular conditions living in the Colchester area and raise money for the research of these diseases. We provide fact sheets and booklets about these conditions free of charge. Our welfare officer listens and gives advice on problems arising due to the sufferers condition.

Alternatively, to get a taste of what our branch is like, take a glance at some of our newsletters or at the events we have organised. Essex County Council have set up a Carers Emergency Planning
Service (see leaflet)
to assist carers who are themselves temporarily incapacitated through
accident or illness.
